The Tudor Black Bay Green Dial stands as one of Tudor's most compelling statements of intent — a watch built not for the display case, but for the wrist of someone who expects more from their instruments.
Founded by Hans Wilsdorf as a rugged, accessible sibling to Rolex, Tudor has come into its own with in-house manufacture movements and a design language rooted in vintage tool watches and modern durability. This particular reference draws on that heritage while pushing the Black Bay collection forward with contemporary proportions and finishing.
The 40mm Titanium case is built to withstand real depth, rated to 250m and paired with a unidirectional rotating bezel that keeps elapsed dive time legible at a glance. The green dial uses bold lume-filled markers designed to stay readable long after the surface light fades.
The Master Chronometer Certified Automatic caliber inside delivers the kind of consistent, dependable timekeeping this reference is expected to provide. Every component has been selected for durability as much as precision, reflecting a philosophy that a watch should outlast trends.
On the wrist, the 40mm case sits with a balance that belies its presence — substantial enough to feel serious, refined enough to disappear under a cuff. The rubber dive strap bracelet has been engineered for a comfortable, secure fit that holds up to daily wear.
It is a genuinely versatile choice — capable of anchoring a formal look with a crisp shirt cuff, yet rugged enough to wear through a demanding travel schedule without a second thought. That range is precisely what separates a good watch from one you'll actually reach for every single day.
Whether this is a first step into Tudor or an addition to an established collection, the Tudor Black Bay Green Dial rewards close attention: the kind of watch that reveals new details every time you look down at your wrist.

Great value for the movement
For what you get, this is hard to beat. The bracelet needed one link removed but that's expected — sizing was easy.
